MEET DR. BRIE CRERAR ND
Brie’s ultimate goal is to provide you with the tools you need to feel better, because your health should not be a barrier to living your best life. She’s eager to show you how much better life can be when you have your health on your side. She believes that health is so much more than the absence of disease, and when we feel good it shines through in everything that we do.
As a board certified naturopathic doctor, Brie offers personalized care, working with the uniqueness of every individual she sees. Having dealt with her own health struggles in the past, she understands the profound effects not feeling your best can have on your life. She’s passionate about finding the underlying cause of your concerns and working with you to achieve long lasting improvements in your health.
During her clinical internship she was selected to work on a specialized fertility and reproductive health focus shift where she received extensive training in preconception care, pregnancy support and women’s health concerns. Brie worked with many couples trying to conceive naturally, as well as those undergoing assisted reproductive technologies (IUI, IVF). She also treats women suffering from; polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), period concerns, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), endometriosis, vaginal complaints, and issues when coming off of the birth control pill. Beyond fertility and women’s health, Brie frequently treats digestive concerns including IBS, IBD, and food sensitivities, thyroid health, mental health concerns, inability to lose weight, unexplained fatigue and skin conditions.
Brie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto where she completed a double major in health sciences and French. She then went on to obtain her 4-year Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. As a strong advocate for evidence-based medicine she stays up-to-date on latest research in order to best treat her patients. Brie has done additional education and has her Therapeutic Prescribing Rights, and is among the 15% of naturopathic doctor who are certified to provide Intravenous (IV) therapy. Brie is an active member with both the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Medicine and Canadian Association of Naturopathic Medicine.
When not in the clinic you can find Brie at Seneca College where she is as a Nutrition Professor, in the kitchen making healthy treats, getting in a workout at Orange Theory, or catching up on the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
